Short Bio

Linda Jakobsen (born June 24, 1985), known as Knetkowski, is a Berlin-based artist working with modeling clay at the intersection of sculpture and photography. Her first exhibition took place in 2012 at Ankerklause in Berlin, where black-and-white photographs of her clay figures gained nationwide attention. 

Knetografie

In 2015 she published the photo book Berlin Knetografie, portraying Berlin’s people and places through hand-shaped scenes.

Knetismus

Her current project Knetismus reimagines iconic paintings by artists such as van Gogh, Vermeer and Klimt in three-dimensional form.
